I read about the new proposed 2016 Olympic logo for Chicago and to tell you the truth I am not a huge fan.

I think the style is attractive, but it doesn't scream Olympic. I also thought they had to get rid of all the gradients because it didn't work on all the applications they needed it for. In addition it will look really muddy in black and white, there is barely any contrast. I feel like they totally missed the boat on this one.
