I'm a Broadcast Journalist for the BBC living in the British Channel Island of Jersey but originally from Hertfordshire, UK.

I'm a self confessed, non appologetic geek - I love technology and new media. I also love blogging for the freedom it gives me.

In my day job as a broadcast journalist I cover a wide range of stories but with a primary focus on music (unsigned bands) and technology stories - but I also find myself covering politics and social stories as well.

On top of writing stories and producing radio packages I also presented and will soon present again a show called Jersey Introducing about unsigned bands in the island and further afield.

Anything by Jeremy Clarkson, Stephen Fry, Charlie Broker - mainly collections of columns and opinions by people that hold ... well strong opinions on a range of issues.

Activities

I try to keep activity levels to a minimum and believe that exercise is fundamentally unhealthy. However I do play guitar and drums.
