Biographies of the Dead and Dying / Havana Theatre / December 18th, 2009

A special encore presentation of Biographies of the Dead and Dying, the most talked about show at this year’s Vancouver International Fringe Festival. The original sold out run of Andrew Templeton’s ghost story for adults was critically acclaimed, with audiences wowed by director Jeremy Waller’s stunning visual style.

Featuring powerful performances by Heather Lindsay and Simon Driver, Biographies was described as “unique and brilliant” and “violently haunting”. Lindsay’s performance as the author who rents a haunted house in order to write the biography of a ghost was hailed as “simply-mind blowing”.

The haunted house she finds herself trapped in is the creation of a crack team of designers: Emma Hendrix (sound design), Kyla Gardiner (scenography) and Nina Hirlaender Hinton (costumes).

If you missed it the first time or if you want to re-experience this ghost story for adults now’s your chance.
