About
UrbanRockBand is Sdaerd (pronounced Sa-dear'd) and "Lucky" Logan P. McCoy. We are two rappers out of New York City who are the inventors of Hip Hop 3.0. With a sound like the Beatles as Black dudes doing New York Hip Hop music, ours is Hip Hop much like Negro Spirituals intended to edify and strengthen it's listener.
The central theme of our movement is self-improvement. Having experienced the harsh realities of inner-city living and the struggle to better one's position socially and economically, we realized that the best way to better one's living situation is to discipline and condition oneself. This conscious decision to be better is a lifestyle choice for which our music is the soundtrack.
