That is the question Boris A., songwriter, raised by introducing its draft electro-chic and shock music made in 2008, first EP of 4 tracks released under ELECTRO-MENAGER-RECORDS label in march 2009.
The music is a companion of all times: his first contact with vinyl to 3 years, the discovery of its pitch during his 10 years of classical piano studies at the National Conservatory of Bordeaux... You could see him in the streets of his hometown, headphones on his ears, fitting the pace of his steps and his heart beating on his favorite music.
Repeated solicitations of his friends finally made him connect in 2005 a MIDI keyboard on his Mac, and compose two tracks in less than 24 hours, that he played in public anonymously. As a result of this test was very conclusive, he plunged into a phase of creative thinking that will lead to repeat the experience some two years later, this time in much more intense. EMR and the label's first public project UTOK2ME? was born.
Marked by the discovery of electronic music in 86 with The Art Of Noise, he turned in the early 90s to the indie-rock of the Pixies and the rough power pop of Weezer and Jawbreaker. In 1995 he began a turn toward the sound of electro trip-hop (Massive Attack, Tricky, Hooverphonic) to go with the tide French Touch 1.0 in 1997 with Air, Daft Punk and Superdiscount of FCOM. Always on the edge of trendy electronic music, it is constantly in search of triturations the most innovative sound. (Mr Oizo, Sebastian, Aphex Twin ...)
His music reflects the diversity of tastes and influences: composite, varied, almost elusive, but always unique. Sexy, elegant, provocative, this music has the dangerous seduction of the cat that you do not know if, when you close, it will pet or scratch you ...
