reaching a generation Aug 15

Well as a youth group, we have come to the realization this summer that to reach a generation, we need to reach. Shane gave a powerful close to PJ's word this weekend, challenging us to pray that God would give us a vision or direction on how we are to reach our schools and our friends. For without vision, people parish! Anyway, we all prayed and God began to speak and is still speaking into our lives. So for the next weeks we are going to begin to post the words and visions from our students, to not only encourage us, but to challenge us to reach our world for Jesus!

Well i was sitting down and reading 1 Peter and god gave me a vision and i would like to share it with u all...Well i have this vision of a huge cross walking through the city and if you want to show people who you are and share the word then you jump on the cross..But here comes the hard part. When school starts everybody is sacred cause the dont want there friends from school to see you up on the cross. So the main picture here is that when school starts we need to have a cross at our schools and when need to jump on it and show people what we are and what we believe in and not to be sacred for what we are doing to this generation. Once we step out and we jump on that cross more and more people will want to jump on there and live a pure life for Jesus Christ. Well in the closing sentence if you arnt on that cross or if you have fallen of the Cross we need to jump back on cause this is the YEAR where we change our GENERATION to become what god wants us to be..

Amazing! Something amazing is happening. Some are coming to realize it, some have yet to notice it. There is a revival(revolution) going to happen. And it's starting with the youth. More and more young adults and youth are becoming on fire for Christ. Man oh man i'm excited! I, for about a year have had an exciting revelation. The church is coming together, christians are starting to realize the powerful title they bear. They are realizing that nothing is going to change unless they step and do something. I for one am one of them. I am more on fire for Christ than I've ever been. My walk with the Lord has never been this great. As many of you know, I'm quite gifted in the music area. And I feel that God is calling me to full time ministry in this field. Anyway, pray for me about this step of faith. Pray for the christians around the world, and I'll pray that you too will be shown what God wants for your life. Pray not for God to reach this generation, pray for God to show YOU how to use the gifts he's given you to reach it. If you seek in prayer and the word, you will find.

I had a vision today......
when i was on my way droppin kenzie off i saw a cloud it looked like a cross fading away and a heart on top of it to me in meant that we can not let the Lord be invisible dont let him fade away in peoples lives!
we have to make Him whole, we have to make our Lord savior stay in everyones lives! We have to show all the other people in life all the love he has for each and everyone of us!! ITS STRONG..and cant be broken.Go into school tell everyone of his wonderful works and his light will be in everyone one of this young dark children's
life.... at the times we need him most we cant make him be invisible even if ur friends thinks this is all a joke! who cares what they think! Just bless them and pray over them and there will become light instead of dark!
u need him and he will raise u up and help u!
God is amazing when he is visible make him that way!

Well at church PJ preached this amazing sermon about ninja dogs and toilet seats............but after that we went and asked god for a visoin and he gave me one so this is my vison not yours not anyones mine!............

So im walking through the halls of tumwater high school, and im looking around and theres just so many people hurting and i think to myself, oh someone will ask them how ur doin.....so what it meant to me is that i need to be the one who steps out and asks how they are doin and what is wrong..........if you obey god he is going to reward you so much....and you will grow in him so much.........so this was my vision not yours and its what im gunna work on this year in school..........what are you gunna do?

I recommend that you also ask god for a vision and he will give you one and it will be for the generation.........so please...change the generation with me?

so i mowed my great grandpas lawn today and i have routine when im over there that when im done doing any kind of yard work i sit down in front of the t.v. with a rootbeer and potato chips. So i was thinkin about whether or not to follow through on my routine or not. the devil put some thoughts into my head like " o the fast is almost over go ahead and sit down." " Relax just watch some t.v its been so long." and " no one will know if you just flip the t.v on." no joke today i was tempted by the devil. But god spoke to me and told me to tell everyone who is fasting to keep going even though the fast is nearly over dont give up and keep going because now is the time the enemy will start to tempt you at the end of a fast. DONT LET HIM ruin it you've come this far dont let him ruin it for by telling you to just turn on the radio or go see JUST 1 movie or watch a few minutes of t.v. i really felt some people needed encouragement as we are nearing the end of our fast . so just remember when the devil starts tempting you and says no one will know...god will know . so stay true to the fast that we've all embarked on together.
