Valve was formed in the late 2005, when Sami Maattala had almost finished a new track that didn't quite fit to be released under any of his previous guises. He then played the track to a friend of his, Joni Autio, who immediately loved the track and gave Sami some very useful tips on how to build the rest of the track. And so, Valve was born.

Valves first track called "Ride" was a success and even got support from Giorgio Ponticelli, DJ Viper and DJ Andy K to name a few. After this, the boys produced even more tracks and finally in the summer of 2006 they had their remix of Serg M's "I Can't Stop It" signed to an Australian label TranceTribe Recordings.

Today Valve is going on strong, already with a few signed tracks under their belt and many more coming up. Their releases have been supported by the likes of Paul Oakenfold, Armin van Buuren, Aly & Fila, Jamaster A, Ronski Speed, Suzy Solar, Manuel Le Saux, Mike Nichol, Ché Armstrong, Dj Redstar, Giorgio Ponticelli, Jeter Avio and many more.
