Vertical Ascent is an Alt.Rock band based outta the small town of Brandon, MS. We've steadily been gaining some publicity throughout the Jackson area, and we plan to go even further. We've only been together for 2 years so far, yet God has blessed us with so much since then. We've gotten several oppurtunities during our shows to share the love of Christ with our audiences. We've also got the small stuff (that is, small compared to what God has done in our personal lives) to be thankful for, such as recording (which we're doing more of really soon, and hopefully it'll turn out into a small CD of 6-7 songs we can get out by this summer) and winning the BHS Battle of the Bands '07. We've been getting serious with our music since then, and we now have our eyes towards Atlanta Fest this year! I don't know that I would say mastermind. Well... yeah I would, lol but it might not be true. We are hoping for a release this summer, things are going well on the writing, Chad has some schedule issues we have to work around, but for the most part its rocking!! Until then I bide my spare time writing folk.

BTW you guys are rocking, keep up the good work.
