So, I was just listening to Kidd Kraddick in the Morning on my way to work and they were discussing of marriage verse long term dating, so I thought I'd put my two cents in.

This really burns me up. I am really sad for the women in these multi-year, cohabitation, dating situations. They are not in loving relationships, no matter what they say. These women are trading the unadulterated, pure love of a covenant, committed, sacred marriage for a cheap, filthy imitation.

The world has it so turned up-side-down now. It's not a matter of sleeping together, living together and finally getting married. How can you expect a marriage to last based on that start. If your spouse was willing to sleep with anyone before marriage, what makes you think that they won't keep doing it after marriage? The design for all serious relationships is commitment first and then the benefits. How foolish would it be to give a company money before the services or goods had even been discussed much less delivered?

The men in these relationships make me even more furious. I'd like to extend the right foot of fellowship to these guys and tell them to grow a pair and do what's right. They need to lead and love and marry (commit FOREVER before God, country and friends) the girl before they start taking physical affection that isn't theirs. My wife and I only have two choices concerning our marriage: a happy marriage or an unhappy marriage. It's funny how when you know there is no escape hatch, you work harder to make it better.

Our society is so broken concerning this issue. These behaviors are damaging and sinful. They destroy the lives of all involved. They anger the Almighty God of the Bible. They condemn themselves to an eternity under His holy, righteous wrath.

But the good news is that Jesus Christ came to redeem us out of this fallen culture. To all who repent (See their fornication and adultery as the grievous sin before God that it is. Really all sin is claiming that you know better than the Creator God how to truly satisfy your desires for love and pleasure.) and believe in the redeeming work of Christ on the cross and the power of the resurrection of Christ bodily from the grave as the only way to be saved from God's wrath, cleansed of your sin and declared righteous, GOD promises to save them. Only Jesus Christ can heal the broken relationship between a person and God, between boyfriend and girlfriend, and between husband and wife.

I just couldn't let the lies of Satan go unaddressed on this issue. The Bible is clear and the design of marriage and sex and the consequences of ignoring the plan.
