Creative Director by trade, music by life
Pre-1987 - At a young age, actively seeked out new sounds and artists for patchwork mix tapes for friends
1988 - Might have been a bit of a GnR fan among others
1989 - Product of the 80's synth sounds, Alternative, had a hidden luv for NY Hip Hop, and BASS
1990 - Was being influenced by New Wave, Goth, Industrial, Early Techno and House, Alternative Scene
1991 - Started going to underground house clubs, often, had to rock out to the seattle scene
1992 - Mixed First Set on 2 Old Technics Turntables and Radio Shack Mixer and a bunch of early hardcore/breakbeat and Old Skool House
1993 - Techno, Happy Hardcore, House, and Breakbeats were ruling my ear
1994 - Playing Breakbeats, Progressive House, and Trance regularly at House Parties. No Limits to sound.
1995 - Moved to Orlando, and was playing out often at many underground nights, Firestone, Infini-D, Metropolis, various smaller club nights, house parties everywhere, etc.
1997 - Progressive House, Intelligent Breaks, Speed Garage, and Drum n' Bass were on my mind
1998 - At the peak of mixing skills, dropping DnB sets as often as possible, Getting sick of the scenes creativity losing momentum.
1999 - Owned about 1,400 - 1,500 records, quit buying vinyl and gave up playing in pursuit of new styles of music and alternative creative avenues. Was tired of requests for the same 4 breakbeat tracks. I don't take requests. You'll hear what you need to hear!
2000 - Tech House, Lounge, Trip Hop and IDM dominated the playlist. Digitized and sold 75% of my vinyl collection as well as 2 Technics 1200's and Numark Mixing board. There were a few records I wish I kept that keep haunting me.
2001 - 2004 - Into the Garage and Indie sound, Intelligent Hip Hop, Experimental and IDM. Anything with mood, interest and atmosphere.
2005 - 2006 - Old Wave found me again, as did The "New" New Wave, dancy, grindy atmospheres started creeping back into my everyday, yay
2007 to present - Introduced to digital mixing and started making dance mixes again with any new style of tweak, bassline, beat and sounds I could find. Currently luvin' Electro House, Tech House, Indie-Dance and the occasional intelligent break. This may change at any second.

This is so banging, hence the name "Banging Bumper Cars". And since its been a while since the last release, I just kept mixing and added a few extra fav tracks on the end. Just released "ElecTweak Muse". This one has a great flow combining the best of what you expect to hear with all the usual tweaks, moody twists and turns that satisfy that urge for the unheard and inspired. A couple of my absolute essential favs you need to listen for is "Tigers in the Fire" (will make you shiver), "Staring at the Sun" has a mind blowing "TV on the Radio" sample from their first album, "Float Away" has been out for a bit but I finally have been able to properly work it into a set at just the right moment you need it. Hope you enjoy this ride as much as I did!

Oi... I'm personally inviting you to participate! http://www.foundationkl.org/2008/12/04/the-foundation-expands/
Ok people, listen up! This is going to be the first of many major announcements to come, as we start shaking things up here on The Foundation. Today, we take our first giant leap.
10 NEW SPOTS OPEN FOR FRESH FKL DJs. ARE YOU ONE OF THEM?
First up, we are once again allocating individual web spaces, this time 10 - each with a capacity of 4GB and its own subdomain.
But, rather than just giving them out to the first 10 people who request, we're going to spice things up with a little competition of sorts. Here's how it's going to work:
Those who are interested will have to submit a mix, which can either be hosted externally or sent to us via email based delivery methods like 'Yousendit' and such. All genres welcomed. We would also require the track-listing, any form of artwork to go along with the mix (400 x 400px @ 72 dpi) and a short bio of the submitter.
We will then proceed to publish a review of the mix and use all our SEO and promo resources to promote the mix. What happens from then on will depend on how much the submitter wants his or her mix to be propagated and heard.
Think of it as a test of your own promotional capabilities. What can you contribute? What ideas can you bring to the table to help create more awareness, not just of The Foundation but also of your work and yourself? What will you do to be heard?
The Foundation Admins will track and analyse all the relevant data such as number of hits, downloads, trackbacks and active discussions for a period of one week from the time the mixset review is published. All stats will be made public.
At the end of the day, DJs with the 10 most active and trafficked mixsets will be awarded their individual webspaces with a capacity of 4GB each and personal subdomains.
What...

Anyway, just wanted to let you know I've got a few new tracks and some reworked ones up on the player. If you're up for it, would definitely love to hear your thoughts and I'll be more than happy to send the mp3s your way. Keep the music coming!

FREE DOWNLOADhttp://www.virb.com/itspas/music/albums/71928 So we are facing some pretty interesting times here in the USA. Political plays float on a sea of national concern over the tide of the economy. A surge of social unrest floods the senses of our collective consciousness, urging us to either go with the flow or stride with the current for change! This month I'm finally able to share a concept that I've been exploring for seven years. I see our electronic music community as being comprised of many tribes, and the individuals of these tribes have a particulalry affinity for music that resonates with the vibration of their tribe, with each tribe and musical style having a correspondant element as follows: Drum N Bass - Fire Element Breakbeats - Water Element Trance/Progressive House - Air Element Funky/Deep/Chicago/San Francisco House - Earth Element This week's show is my interpretation of the shifting universal energies I feel at a soul level in Mizu Jutsu, Water Style electronica, ala emotive, syncopated, ebb and flow of beats and bass tha we know as Breaks... Enjoy! One, DJ Möet aka Pascal A Dupuy
