Born in 1973 in Niort (France).
Lives and works in Angoulême.
His labyrinthine course begins with studies in «Nice Arts». Unable to neither submit to professorial authority, nor to institutional formatting, he chooses to resign at the end of two years.
After a period of restless wandering, he puts itself into alternative middle of Toulouse, then registers in the university in history of art and in archaeology.
During these years he paints on canvas raw or prepared, always on big formats. His painting is impulsive, compulsive, emotional. Self-portraits are numerous and his pictorial production is first of all an outlet. With the first exhibitions and especially the first sales come into sight the first question settings and the first doubts. Job cannot any more be also spontaneous, a movement of fall and of retention becomes established. He enters an incubation period.
It settles then professionally as independent graphic designer without great satisfaction, approaching a middle to the antipodes of its values. He discovers the photo and develops his knowledge in the multimedia. In his plastic research, symbolic crossings are progressively made. He gets rid of pictures and of painting. His job conceptualises. Having been an artist without work, he produces work without public whom he buries in the nature, leaving them with the effects of time and of their environment.
Since 2002, he leads many interventions on heterogeneous territories and is confronted with often acquired publics (school, small childhood). All this plastic experimentations worked out in urban worlds or in natural sites leads him to be interested in the in-situ trial of a work, rather than in its final materiality. He conceives so often ephemeral installations leading him to distance himself from his own productions.
The AMORCE appears as a new stage in a long process of ripening, while remaining linked to the same creative convulsions of the first writings. It appears as the confession of a tormented psychical body, the material translation of bodily and existential stakes.
