I have been hearing this for YEARS now and it was not until just about 3 months ago that it really hit home for me. "It is a proven scientific fact that children who receive regular positive verbal reinforcement - ou perform those who do not, and go on to be much more successful contributors to society..." Wow. So basically if a child is told how much they are loved, how awesome they are, and how creative they are - they grow up with a different mindset than children who don't get this type of reinforcement? The answer is SURE THEY DO - but then the challenge is finding enough "anti-negative" adults in the child's life to perpetuate this theory to fruition.

Speaking from the side of a Father with THREE Kids - I can see this theory in practice all the time. I am constantly telling my children that they are brilliant, creative, witty, charming and amazing - and thus I have a 13 year old that writes business plans and wins awards for innovation. NOW - I am not saying that I am the only factor in this thing BUT I am saying that what I contribute makes a difference... SO THIS IS WHERE IT GETS WITTY FOLKS... PAY ATTENTION -

Powered by iTunes the iPositive Bear can be updated as the child grows with different stages of life - always being mindful of the child's development and age based reinforcement requirements.
