Over the past week I have encountered a phenomena not once, not twice but at least 3 times and yesterday (June 5th) it all started coming together. Let's give this a backdrop -

"... And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams..." Acts 2:17

In this passage we see that it has been written that in the last days God will pour his spirit out upon flesh - sons and daughters - so on and so forth - This is becoming a reality today as we see more young people being big dreamers and having grand visions for future business. This should actually come as no surprise - nor should it be "blowing anyone off their rockers", because we have been forewarned of these coming times (this is where we stop looking at the Bible as just a "book"...) and we can better prepare ourselves for a generation that will indeed break every rule that we thought to be true -

Rethink -

I was in a meeting yesterday with a Colleague - Talia Ashley of Hip Hop Grows Up - and she said something that struck me like an freight train - she said... "If companies do not learn how to honor, and recognize the visions and dreams of it's young Leaders then they will be missing out on one of the greatest shift's in business this world has ever seen..." She went on to say - "Leaders have to understand how to properly manage and place the young Visionaries in a way that allows them to fulfill their visions while being positive contributors to the sum of the whole..."

Redefine -

Wow - Now that was deep right? Nah - it gets better, She goes on to say - "The need to master The Art of Vision Placement". That about killed me. I about put my Frap down on the table and stood up, and walked out... NOW that <--- Was RELEVANT. "The Art of Vision Placement" - I would have to believe from the context that she meant... The art of being able to identify ones visions and place them within your organizations vision where they line up the best? Yeppers - we are on to something now... This would redefine the role of a Human Resources person - and give them a new level of thought. NOT only are they looking at "elegant resumes" BUT they are also looking at the interior of the "Future Rock Star" and digging up their passions, dreams and visions - and aligning them properly within the culture of the business... Result? A "Trooper" with a greater sense of fulfillment, AND one who feels a deeper connection with the company they are contributing to. Whoa... Now that's revolutionary -

Generation Y - Say hello to the "Vision Placement Expert" - The insightful Human Resources "Guru" who goes beyond the lustrous black and white - and digs out some R E A L value. The one who cares that you are hitting the mark in your life - and living a life of purpose AND calling. The "Drone" Killer!! Wow - Human Advancement at it's best eh?
