Vision Herd

Just remember that you're standing on a planet that's evolving
And revolving at nine hundred miles an hour,
That's orbiting at nineteen miles a second, so it's reckoned,
A sun that is the source of all our power.
The sun and you and me and all the stars that we can see
Are moving at a million miles a day
In an outer spiral arm, at forty thousand miles an hour,
Of the galaxy we call the 'Milky Way'.
Our galaxy itself contains a hundred billion stars.
It's a hundred thousand light years side to side.
It bulges in the middle, sixteen thousand light years thick,
But out by us, it's just three thousand light years wide.
We're thirty thousand light years from galactic central point.
We go 'round every two hundred million years,
And our galaxy is only one of millions of billions
In this amazing and expanding universe.

The universe itself keeps on expanding and expanding
In all of the directions it can whizz
As fast as it can go, at the speed of light, you know,
Twelve million miles a minute, and that's the fastest speed there is.
So remember, when you're feeling very small and insecure,
How amazingly unlikely is your birth,
And pray that there's intelligent life somewhere up in space,
'Cause there's bugger all down here on Earth.

Good News

After I had put the TYRAnt BANKs:Ego NLRGMNT mixtape on the nets, I received good reviews from my peers and strangers alike. During the time it was on the webs... I was shopping the tunes around to see if it was label worthy. Now see I had met STUDEMONT PROJECT a couple of years back while doing shows with my boy Eloc (Intuitive2) and knew that they had a functioning record label called, ESTHETIC NOISE, out of the Heights here in Houston, TX. So it wasn't out of the ordinary for me to go to them and submit my tunes there. After several discussions and emails with Gilbert, one of Studemont's vocalist and Esthetic Noise A&R, we came to an agreement. He handpicked the best from the NLRGMNT mixtape, plus a few extra's I emailed him. Now the tunes are going to get mixed, mastered, and distributed!!! I am very fortunate to be in the situation I am in now and to be a part of this family of extremely talented musicians, all of which are dedicated to experimenting with new sounds and the progression of Texas Grown Music. Soak it in.

So, TYRAnt BANKs is dead. No more. I thought it was original, but turns out there is a goth/pop group out of New Jersey under the same likeness. It's that collective consciousness at work. So, Vision Herd is the new ish. Don't ask, just try and understand it. Vision Herd. Now comes the funnest part of making music, the live show. I am working on the live aspect and cannot wait to get a set down. Other than that, enjoy whatever free tunes I have out and keep your eyes and ears posted for the upcoming release. Thanks to everyone who has supported me throughout the years. Without you, I don't even want to think about it. On with the show.
