Purple's Chase is the twelth and final piece on my debut CD. For those who are unfamiliar, my first two CD's are actually one entire score Purple's Chase concludes the first CD, and ultimately sets the tone for the second, which is much more powerful, richer, and developed. The title Purple's Chase is reflective of my imagery of 'Purple' being a place of complete satisfaction, or nirvana. As its very aggressive, I imagined being on this journey, or chase, for the color purple. With its soft and dramatic sections, imagine running towards that place, and yet its all up in the air, and are unsure of what the conclusion may be.
