Artist Youseff Nabil observes his life as it were a movie theater, watching every minute of his own film. Since childhood, he has been fascinated by the idea that in cinematic stories, the actors are playing a game in which nothing is real. Close up detail of on of his hand coloured silver gelatin photographs. One of the amazing pictures exhibited at the Arabesque: Arts of the Arab World Festival which finished on March the 15th. His upcoming solo show opens at the Villa Medici in Rome in Spring 2009.
