We are the Storm was formed in Uppsala, Sweden in the fall of 2008 by Staffan, Ludde, Magnus, Sebbe and a drummer named Erik. Erik soon left and made place for Rikard behind the drums. The debut EP (We are the Storm) was written during the cold winter months and recorded in March 2009. The EP was released in April and soon after that Jonas joined the band.

A mini-tour in Sweden and some sporadic shows was made to promote the EP. The EP was well recieved all over (Swedish indie media, It’s a trap, Indiepassion, allscandinavian.com, swedesplease, absolute noise… BLA BLA BLA). The summer and fall of ‘09 is being spent writing new material and a short movie will be recorded in November and an album in the beginning of 2010.
