Wembly Shadwell

I am this restless wanderer that walks between the lands of what some dreamers call perceived reality and conceived reality. When I close my eyes, the world goes on without me, but when I open them and go out into the world, I am capable of moving mountains.

I am a planet, which actually means wanderer, fixed to a sacred belt of rhythm and purpose, that still somehow drifts at will into other untrampled concourses. I am a desperately curious wanderer. My questions always outweigh my answers, but never enough to be skeptical of Truth when I find it. I can sometimes be found nestled between the pages of a book written in the tongue of other cultures, for after all, there are more cultures than one. I sometimes can't be found because I am lost in thought.

I am fatigued. Fatigued with living life as if it has no meaning. Have you ever felt that way? We become enveloped in a Grand and Horrid machine of existence that dictates our courses and enslaves us to routines. But what is this Grand and Horrid machine? Is it in the pretentious commercial that begs you to buy another "quality" product because life will make so much more sense with so much more stuff? Is it in the mistaken belief that our God of Reason prevails over any other attempt to explain the universe, and anything that doesn't fit nicely into "boxes" it demonizes as "irrational" and "unsatisfactory"?

I am not about pedantic self-promotion, but about semantic self-disclosure. I wander around not to peddle my wares, but to share my thoughts and listen close. My ears are several times bigger than my mouth.

I sometimes find myself dancing to the music of a band that I have attached myself to. But should the music fade, I will continue on my wandering way. And I shall continue to wander on my way till I find the answers on The Way.

This is also the story of 4 guys at Greenville College who relate in some way, shape or form to Wembly Shadwell. They have gathered together to vent "life angst" and Life inspiration on a collection of stringed and percussive instruments...oh and also to fuse a relationship of eternal implications. If you have the ears, please hear. These few songs have the capacity to be enjoyed. Thank you for your curiosity and appreciate our imperfection and humanity.
