About

Minnesota-white-girl who could use some sun.

I am the Project Manager for an amazing marketing firm in Winona, Minnesota. We're a small firm, but I'm confident that it's only a matter of time before we take over the world.

Other than working, I'm a single parent to my two adorable children and... I help my boyfriend with his son. My kids and I, we're the three musketeers. They're the reason I'm going to make it big someday.

When I'm not working... Um... I'm... ok, well, I'm always working. Either I'm parenting, taking care of my old lady (my second job, personal care assistant), or brainstorming over-the-top advertising/marketing ideas for current and possible new clients. I recently picked up a third job as a Dietary Aide as well. I'm pretty tired.

My old lady is best friend. She's 85 years old and FULL of advice - usually right on. She has a lot of wisdom to share.

I try to keep a watchful eye on commercials -- good and bad. I wish their was a TV channel just for commercials. I must say, I know I'm in the right field.

As far as VIRB goes, I'm here for a little social interaction. You never know who you'll meet.

I've made a few decisions. First, I need to worry about me and my house payment. I'm so good at worrying about everyone else, but I'm at the point where I really need to worry about me. Secondly, I'm going to give it my …

I didn't cry

I'm not even sure how I did -- but I know I didn't cry. After the funeral, we went outside and the Legion and VFW shot off a couple of rounds in honor of Max. That's when I lost it. The bugle played "Taps" and I sobbed along with Max's wife and sons. It was …
