THE EX-COLLECTIVE
We know you may have heard a lot of talk of this Ex-Collective business of late. Well we are super excited to be releasing our new album in conjunction with a couple other great local Vancouver bands, under a collective label simply titled 'The Ex-Collective' Here is a summary of what it is all about:

In 2009 members of Run The Red Light, Whitfield, and Tv Heart Attack had a significant idea. The concept of working towards creative goals together. Bands and friends sharing resources to expand the scope of what any individual group could achieve on their own. Radio, marketing, publicity, and touring campaigns too costly or too daunting a task as a single artist become a reality. A cross-pollination of fans, industry relationships, and sheer momentum means more music for you the listener. Prior to the Ex-Collective Launch on May 23rd, a listening party will be held at Section 3 in Yaletown on Sunday, May 3, 2009 at 8pm. The listening party will preview new recordings and will feature acoustic performances from Ex-Collective artists. Please RSVP if possible to info@whitfieldband.com

This will be the first show and the real birthing of Ex-Collective - an alliance between Run The Red Light, Whitfield and TV Heart Attack.
