howdy, my name's tracy. i look forward to getting to know you!
thanks for taking the time to check out my music. i put a lot of work into this stuff, so hopefully you'll get a little something out of it. right now i'm just one guy working alone, but i'm open to collaborating with other people to help me communicate the big ideas i have inside of my head. with my music i'm trying to move away from typical popular musical structures, while at the same time remaining listenable, so i hope you dig it!
i'll be uploading some new songs soon, so stay tuned! until then feel free to send me a message or an email and tell me what's on your mind : )

da fool Apr 2
aw man, it's no fun being alone on April Fool's Day. i'm usually not into holidays, but April Fool's is always fun. i like all the goofy jokes that people make and the tricks we try to pull on each other : ) like when you'd go to class and the teacher'd be like "oh hey there's a HUGE TEST today, did you guys study??? oh APRIL FOOLS!" the NPR program i'm listening to right now just did a super-serious fake interview with two fake guests as a joke, but they haven't said "haha April Fool's!" yet, and i'm giddy with excitement waiting for them to reveal the joke :D
the only thing i like more than April Fool jokes is when it's New Year's Day and people say stuff like "i haven't seen you since LAST YEAR" or on New Year's Eve when you say "goodnight, i'll see you NEXT YEAR" oh i laugh at those jokes every single time.
the Mountain rises Apr 1
i just posted a new song called Mountain, so come on over and give it a listen. it's a conceptual instrumental piece that tells the story of a journey up a mountain. in the first section, you can see the mountain in the distance and you walk toward it, then you climb your way up through the trees and walk along a dirt path. as you get to the top, birds start to sing and you turn your head to look off into the distance at the clear blue sky!
close your eyes and take a trip,
-tracy.
