So here is a crazy moment. Josh and I were at our friend Sarah Mills art show at Urban Elements looking at some great art and talking with many a fine person (which is what one typically does at art shows). For some reason, as we were chatting with our good friends Candace and Sammi, the topic turned to that of Chocolate. Its no secret that Josh and I have a particular love of fine chocolate, and while we will continue to debate which type is better (he loves milk chocolate and I love Dark chocolate), we agree that chocolate might be one of the greatest foods in the world (next to cheese in my mind). Which is why Josh suddenly commented that that its to bad the Godiva store closes in 15 minuets. Now, I like to think that I am not an impulsive person, but next thing I know all four of us are running out of Urban Elements, leaping into Josh's Explorer, and racing to downtown Indianapolis toward the Godiva store. I wish I could have just watched the scenario play itself out because it's a bit ridiculous. I mean, here we are weaving in and out of traffic, running yellow lights (some might have been red but it was all such a blur at the time), and double parking. Then we are sprinting up the mall stairs (Godiva is in the circle center mall, if you are curious), weaving in and out of foot traffic, and going straight for the godiva store, which is about to close in two minutes (Josh did stop ever so briefly to glance at shoes but Sammi and Candace pushed him onward). And as we rushed into the store, which was just about to close, it was such a wonderful feeling knowing that I would soon be eating one my favorite Godiva concoctions, the Midnight Swirl Ganache.
It was definitely worth it the end and as Josh always says "one piece of Godiva chocolate is always better than four bars of Hershey's"
What we had:
Josh: 1 Raspberry Ganache Twirl, 1 Raspberry Cordial
Wolfy: 1 Raspberry Ganache, 1 Raspberry Star, 1 Midnight Swirl Ganache
Candace: 1 bar of 72% dark chocolate
Sammi: Dark Chocolate covered almonds
