There honestly can be no excuse for my long absence in writing.  So I must apologize.  It's not for lack of content, that's to be sure.  It has been a hectic, drama filled summer thanks mostly in part to our upcoming record.  However I am glad to say that we finished recording all of the tracks last week and the record is getting mixed even as I type this.  From what I have heard, it sounds brilliant.  However, since this record also took 15 years off my life, I hope I am able to witness its release!

I am glad that it is scarf season!!!  Its one of the best times of the year.  Its cold, but not so cold as to warrant a jacket.  One merely needs a long sleeve shirt or sweater coupled with a scarf and, voila, perfect fall attire.  I wish that fall would last a bit longer but it always seems to be so fleeting.  I wish the leaves would stay their brilliant colors for, oh, lets say four months.  I think that is reasonable.  Plus that would be four months where I wouldn't have to rake leaves (something I really do not enjoy).

Also this time of year means apples, lots-o-apples.  Lots-o-apples equal pie, lots-o-pie.  Lots-o-pie equals nirvana on my tongue.  Of course pie is my favorite dessert of all time (Golden Raspberry to be precise), and it stands without reason that I should indulge much this fall in apple pie goodness.  I love to put sharp cheddar cheese on my apple pie, which usually warrants an odd look or two but then again, I am from the blessed state of Wisconsin.
