About

A couple of years ago, I acquired an Indian instrument known as a Bulbul Tarang. When I learned that the name translates as "Waves of Nightingales", I decided to use it as the basis for a new musical project.

I am also a member of the duo One Human Minute (with Paul Dickow, aka Strategy) and the group Smoke and Mirrors (and occasionally play as an adjunct member of the band Moodring). I was part of the long-running but now defunct psych group group the MomeRaths, as well as the chaotic fireball that was Space Hawk. Reaching back further, I have been a part of A John Henry Memorial, , and Entertainment. I have also appeared on recordings by some friends, namely The Plants, Rollerball, and Nudge.
