Speaking the Truth

There has always been a problem with speaking the truth of something to people, people whom you love and to people whom you respect. Whereas its always easy to tell a lie to a person who is not close to you or you have just met. Truth, as I've found out can be one of the hardest things to handle in life. The fact being that sometimes, truth can be lies is something entirely not acceptable to some people. What we percieve to be true is to US the truth, whereas for someone it might be a big white lie. This being the fact of life has always haunted me for when I talk, the things that come out of my mouth can be entirely true or entirely wrong. Another of these so called "true lies" as I call it, is when it comes to life or death situations. Where telling the truth can be devastating for someones life. For me, telling the truth if it is a matter of MY life or death is always simple. I'd choose death before I tell a lie for my own gain. But when it comes to someone elses life...... its just .... hard. Just think about it. The fact of you telling the truth about a person could lead in some way or another to his death. If thats the case, would you rather lie or let him be killed.

Life can be harder than you think it is. Some people go as far as to say that their life is a road made of roses. and that it ultimately leads to a big garden full of life and joy. But turn around and look back for a second. Not at yourself, but at others. You will realize there is more suffering in this world than happiness. But ultimately the question will be, where is the Peace, where is the truth and what are we living for ?????? But as life has always been and it will always be, there will always be a small flickering light of happiness in the vast darkness. enough to last a lifetime. That light my friends is for you and only YOU to find out and share. Whereas for me, my light is already found by me. Not inside me, but around me. In people that I love and care for and they ...in turn for me.
