Passage: Genesis 6:9-14; 6:22-7:1; 7:5
We all have heard about how Noah built the ark and the passage is mainly teaches about how righteous Noah was, and that is why God used Noah. Have you ever thought about Noah being disciplined. He built this big ole ark. That takes discipline especially when think of the size of the ark. In being discipline, I think there are two principles we need to understand. First we need to understand Delayed Gratification. The payoff most of the time comes along much later when being discipline. Second, We have to practice Advance Decision Making. There are some days we just don't feel like doing it but going ahead setting aside that time or making that decision earlier on in the day helps keep our self accountable. Telling yourself you have to do it. Then your payoffs will come.
