Passage: Genesis 3:1-8

This series is all about being a Rebel. What is a rebel? Most of the time we think that a Rebel is someone who is in trouble with the law, breaks all the rules, and just tries to throw the government off. A rebel paves the way. My opinion a rebel is someone who breaks the rules and that changes how things are done. The first rebels would have to be Adam and Eve. When they ate the fruit. That is when sin entered the world. That was rebellion. The first sin which was disobedience. That changed everything. That sin totally changed their life and changed our life. So when people sin, break rules, and they think they are a rebel, they are totally fooling their self and everyone else. It has been done before. Sin and breaking rules, that is not a rebel because it has been done. The only rebellion left is to rebel against our sin. Then we are changing how things are done. A true rebel will turn from their sin because that needs to be done and that will change everything. Let's rebel. Let's rebel against our sin.
