Magic. Unity. Might.

This is my new motto. It's almost punk or hardcore. UNITY. MIGHT. Those are very powerful words and you throw in MAGIC and you got some shit to deal with! I like how it could be interpreted very seriously, or as complete garbage. I was recently given the June 1977 issue of MUM magazine (Magic. Unity. Might.) and I love it so much. Check out the Society of American Magicians insignia! BOOM! That is a beautiful mark and from now on I'm going to straight up rip it, appropriate it, and stamp it right on top of YACHT stuffs. (see image above)

...and this guy? He is classy! If you have anything magic related, images, keychains, wands, any of that stuff. Send it to me!

We just sent out the first promo copies of my new album, "I Believe In You. Your Magic Is Real." and we're sending out magic wands along with them. I've been a big fan of the Wild Promo feature on the Fader Blog for a while now, and I'm stoked that they wrote up YACHT and the wands. Dreams coming true, guys. Dreams coming true. The other dream of mine is to host the most epic CD release party of all time here in Portland, Oregon on May 5th, 2007. I don't want to give away too much too soon, but fuck dudes, it's going to be rad. There will be 2 parts, both of which should totally be ALL AGES, and Part 1 will be very special and somewhat exclusive due to physical limitations. You'll be able to try and win a spot for the first part...something like a raffle, maybe? Part 2 will be fully public and $10 will get you in and put a copy of the new CD in your hands.

Again, you can totally preorder the album from Marriage and here's an MP3:

This is the first track that we're releasing publicly and I realized today that the other tracks on the record don't really sound anything like this track. In fact, none of the tracks really sound alike. You could say that it's all over the place and I wouldn't take offense. R&B to Grunge, guys.

Here's the official tracklist for the US release:

1. So Post All 'Em

2. See A Penny (Pick It Up)

3. We're Always Waiting

4. Platinum (feat. Bobby Birdman)

5. It's All The Same Price (feat. Eats Tapes)

6. The Magic Beat

7. Drawing In the Dark

8. It's Coming to Get You

9. If Music Could Cure All That Ails You

10. I Believe In You

11. Your Magic Is Real

12. Women Of The World

If you like one sheets, here's the PDF one sheet for the record. Maybe you have a blog or a small magazine that didn't get a promo? If you want anything just let Daniel Gill of ForcefieldPR know. He's nice.

I'm really, really excited to get out and tour with these new songs and a new show. I'm going to be doing some dates with Tussle and Architecture in Helsinki in May and June, then Japan and Australia in July...possibly some shows in Europe in July as well. BUSY BUSY. Of course I'll be touring as much as I can because I love it. Every chance I get, I'll be there. Every cruise ship, every dance hall, every TGI Friday's and/or Chili's. I WILL BE THERE AND I WILL PLAY THIS MUSIC. My tour life goals for 2007 are:

Norway, Sweden, Finland, Venezuela, Brazil, Chile, and Taiwan.

Addendum: Mexico City.

Double-Addendum: OF COURSE DENMARK! It didn't make the list because I'm COUNTING on going to Denmark this year. COUNTING ON IT! I'll see you soon, Denmark. COUNT ON IT!

PS- Here's something I made a couple mornings ago. Just feedback.
