Young Adult Cancer Survivors of Central New York, also know affectionately as Y.A.C.S. of CNY, is a social group for young adult cancer survivors (18-40) and their supporters in central NY state. We are trying to focus on the social and living side of being a survivor rather than just the support group model (which we fully support of course). That being said, by building this community of survivors in our local area we can find the support we all need, but in our own way. Through online discussion, meet ups, and other and other live events we can all see that we are definitely not alone in this sandwich generation here in CNY.
