Bryce Case, Jr. aka YTCracker has emerged as the king of the burgeoning genre of nerdcore hip hop. As a nerdcore artist, YTCracker’s topics are generally technologically or otherwise geek oriented. He also separates himself from the pack by writing songs about some of the finer points to succeeding in nerd life — money and women. His ability to entertain both hardcore geeks, laypeople, and hip hop aficionados simultaneously is the reason he is the undisputed king of nerdcore.
From an early age, Bryce was exposed to computers. He learned to program BASIC at age 4 and gained notoriety by defacing multiple web sites, including NASA and the FAA at age 17. Since then, Bryce has made a name for himself in many different circles. He is a highly respected webmaster and businessman with ownership stakes in several on and offline businesses. It wasn’t until late 2006 that he decided to approach his music career with the same tenacity as his other endeavors. YTCracker will undoubtedly leave his mark on both the nerdcore scene and the music industry as a whole. Prepare for the nerd revolution.
