Los Angeles band consisting of singer Reece McLaughlin, Lenny Ibarra on the bass,Diego Ibarra on Lead Guitar. Anger. Rage, bliss & forgiveness. Zen Vodou is a dark and heavy sound that leaves you with the unyielding hope of a future. Sound strange? Singer McLaughlin combines a vast range of talent that reminds you of David Gahan/ Jim Morrison mixed with Al Jorgensen and Trent Reznor. The guitar although heavy and in your face is seasoned with a melody that sets this group far apart and far ahead of the crowd. This is not your average band nor Average players. Zen Vodou released two songs on the Friends and Family Vol.2, album in 2001 A compilation done by Suicidal Tendencies own label. Zen Vodou is currently finishing up thier debut with Keith Hillebrandt ( Nine Inch Nails, David Bowie)
Gagosian Liga, Aug 8, 2007:
"We all admire the spangled acrobat with classical grace meticulously walking his tight rope in the talcum light; but how much rarer art there is in the sagging rope expert wearing scarecrow clothes and impersonating a grotesque drunk! I should know." (Vladimir Nabokov)
