I need to set the record clear on the iPhone and its "slow" EDGE connection. I live where I do not get a powerful speed but I get reception and I have played with a Motorola Q, a Palm 700p Treo, and now the iPhone. Here's my report!

The Motorola Q (EVDO) - It crashed. Duh.

Palm 700p (EVDO) - It loads slowly but surely for a page made for a mobile phone.

iPhone (EDGE) - It loads faster then the Q and also a little faster then the Palm 700p Treo considering it is loading a full featured website. No mobile-formatted pages for this monster!

It is disgusting with this big smear campaign with the iPhone. I hate AT&T, and I don't know if you know this but... I hate AT&T! But the iPhone's EDGE connection is NOT as slow as these reports I've been seeing. If you can explain why it's fast for me please tell me what I'm doing correct!
