As the news hole continues to shrink, PR professionals are turning to bloggers to get their clients coverage. Pitching a blogger is a much different game than pitching a paid journalist. This is a hit I secured for Denver's Road Home with one of Denver's most popular advertising blogs - The Denver Egotist. Our task was to spread this video to as many folks as possible, as quickly as possible, with the end goal of having it go viral in the community. By securing this placement on a widely-read blog, the video views and Web site interactions increased drastically in a matter of hours. (Don't make yourself blind.
