Well, here I am back at work. Home from Washington, DC. As you recall, I made reference last week to "peak week". That directly referred to the fact that I was 1 week out from my first competition this year. Not many knew I was competing, as I kept it rather "undercover". I definitely came in at my all time best and placed 2nd in the Junior class and 3rd in Novice Heavyweight. I am pleased, but can and will do better. I have posted some photos from the show, enjoy. Somebody better be ready to roll in four more weeks............ On a side note, Tosha looked fantastic as she did the fitness model division* *she was very minxy ;)

Well, I am here at my new job (which I will touch on in a later post) 8 days from Aug.11. You may be asking why it matters how many days away I am from Aug.11. Well, the only explanation I care to give right now is that this is "peak week". If you don't know what this means, then you will have to wait until after Aug.11 to find out, but rest assured you will. On a lighter note, I have developed a new template for an internal marketing website using all XHTMl/CSS (the old one was using tables and javascript rollovers and..........well you get the idea...) I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out so far, there is one bud I'd like to fix which likely I will work on today sometime between figuring out whether I am alive or just breathing and creating logos for the new software my company developed. I've never worked with as strict marketing standards that this company has just adopted so it puts a damper somewhat on how 'creative' I can really get, but regardless, my skills will improve significantly during my time here I feel. As far as creativity is concerned, I will have some time in the near future hopefully to work on zacknaylor.com V.2. I'm eager to see what I can come up with, the concept is all but done, however I'm still toying with many different functionality ideas that will tickle you pink*. * author cannot guarantee exact hue/saturation and/or #hex color

indeed you are seeing correctly, I have started a blog! This may not be all that exciting for many (all?) of you*. However, I hope to get this whole deal up and running pretty smoothly soon with some new hotness custom CSS straight from my head. There is alot going on in my camp, new job, new goals.....practically a new life. Additionally, I would like to keep the blog updated with such events as well as hopefully offer insight to fellow web designers/nerds/killer guys/gals (ok....enough slashes for godsake). Anyway, since I've finally broken and started a blog, I would like it to be useful, insightful and hopefully a resource of sorts for all things Z and life in general.
